Excentric bore at Sidelock / Weldon Holders according DIN1835B
KFH produce all the Sidelock / Weldon Holders bores excentric to compensate for the clamping screw pushing the tool off center.
Accuracy: 15 µm max. at 3 x d.
Advantages:
1. better surface finish - reduced vibration - longer spindle life
2. longer " cutting tool " life - reduced tooling / manufacturing costs
Attention - due to the eccentric grinding of the bores, the
run out can only be checked by inserting a qualified tool
blank. Do not measure bore.
