Manufacturing Specifications:
Material: All products are manufactured from a quantified alloyed case hardening steel with a tensile strength of 800 N/mm²
KFH's hardening quality management ensures that heat treatment specifications are
maintained, typically hardened to a minimum of 630 HV (Vickers) / 56 HRc
All "essential" features ( tapers, bores etc.) are precision ground.
KFH manufactures the SK-tapers more precisley than AT3 specification:
All tapers are specifically ground slightly concave in position B ( inside the tolerances)
to guarantee an optimum spindle to taper contact,
hence give the best possible fit and minimize run out.

Grade of balance
Toolholders featured with standard grade of balance of G6,3 12.000 rpm
(pre-balanced), can be fine-balanced ( higher speed or G2,5 ) for an additional
charge of 15 € / pce on demand.
